Aechmea 'Little Harv' is a medium-large cultivar of chantinii. The foliage is strongly silverish in full sun and shiny when just watered. Always an impressive long lasting bloom, I placed this bromeliad in view from my rear slider so I can enjoy it with a glance. Grows well in high light conditions.

A variegated form of this is called 'Harvey's Pride' is also a stunner. Some folks were labeling it 'variegata'. The pseudo Latin is too piggish for such a nice plant.
