Aechmea seideliana is a medium-small bromeliad specie with tight purple flower petals. Similar to recurvata in form and structure though a bit larger in stature. The tag on this particular clone reads 'collected in Espirito Santo, Brazil 1985, Ruby Ryde Bollins'. Named for collector and grower Alvin Seidel.
