Neoregelia 'Roy'

Neoregelia 'Roy' , a cross of melanodonta 'Red' x spectabilis 'Pinkie', a dark red beauty with black tips looked very familiar for some reason. There were many positive queries when I bought it at the '08 FCBS Extravaganza. Then it hit me - Neoregelia 'Mister Odean' an F2 of 'Roy'. With a side - by - side comparison I could see the same bromeliad but with different in color tone.
