Neoregelia wilsoniana, named in honor of Robert and Catherine Wilson, is an interesting specie bromeliad from S.E. Bahia, Brazil. Mulford Foster describes having seen this specie at Aqua Preta, Bahia in a BSI Journal in 1959. The leaves start out narrow and become wider with the base and cup turning dark towards maturity.
