Bromelia pinguin (variegated)
can almost be deceiving with it's more decorative albo-marginated leaves as to
being less lethal than the norm. No, the scalpels lining the edges of these
plants will draw blood just as quickly as the normal all green bromeliads. Place
these plants well away from a trafficked area.
Acquired as serra forma variegata
as a small offset in the spring of 2008, this bromeliad has a ways to go before
antithesis. The FCBS site has more on the ID of this clone. Next up - a blooming
plant - probably in 2010.
